The 6-story 89-unit apartment building proposed for the former “Norm’s” restaurant site, at 11001 Pico Boulevard was the subject of a special WSSM Board Meeting on October 29, 2018. At that meeting, neighborhood stakeholders presented a list of concerns about the negative impacts of the project, which would include increased traffic, parking overspill, shadows/visual blight, loss of privacy, noise and inpacts during construction.
Afriat Consulting Group – representing the new owners of the property, NMS Properties – were invited to present the updated/revised design for the project at the Westside Neighborhood Council Board meeting on January 10, 2019. However, we understand that Afriat want more time to work on their resonse to the many neighborhood concerns and will not be making any kind of presentation at the WNC meeting on January 10.
