All stakeholders are encouraged to attend the monthly WNC board meeting. A hot agenda topic for June is a package of proposed changes to the WNC bylaws, including a split of the existing Seat 7 area (which corresponds with WSSM’s bondaries) into two smaller areas of roughly equal size. Under this proposal, Seat 7 would cover the area bounded by Sepulveda, Beverly Glen, Olympic and Santa Monica, while a new seat – to be called Seat 18 – would cover the area bounded by Sepulveda, Beverly Glen, Pico and Olympic.

It is important to note that the proposed split of the WNC Seat 7 area would NOT affect WSSM boundaries or in any way diminish the repesentation of the WSSM area by our Homeowners Association. However, this change would mean that the current WNC Seat 7 area representative – Barbara Broide, who is also President of WSSM – would no longer represent stakeholders who live south of Olympic in WNC board meetings and voting.
