Neighborhood Watch is about getting to know and watching out for your neighbors. A neighborhood watch meeting is a way to facilitate that and to also get some tips on what is suspicious activity and how to report it.
Neighborhood watch does not involve patrols of the neighborhood. It needn’t involve a time commitment either; it really is about getting to know your neighbors, which is the best crime deterrent.
It also provides for emergency response in the neighborhood when first responders cannot reach us.
