The crime trend continues its impressive decline. November saw the fewest reported crimes (22) yet and almost 60% fewer than the previous November. It is interesting to note that the undeniable worsening situation for the homeless in our area has *not* led to increased crime; clearly, if anything, it’s the opposite.

Marc has added a few new charts to the “Crime statistics” tab that shows the trend for the highest-frequency crimes and, for the most part (especially for stolen vehicles), these illustrate the dramatic improvement in crimes. Our neighborhood area in particular has benefited from this trend, more so than the larger surrounding area (see the “West LA crime trend” tab which shows smaller improvements).
