While reported crimes are up a bit from the past two months, crimes remain well below what we saw last year. For the entire West LA area, there’s been a significant increase in car thefts and an unfortunate increase (from a very low number) in homicides. However, all other crimes – both violent and property – have significantly reduced over the past two years.
